Purses made by women in partnership: woven in Myanmar and sewn in Sri Lanka

You’d be surprised at the journey this purse has taken to get to you.

With natural fibres woven and dyed in the remote village of Umphange in Myanmar the women pass these to the women in shelters in Kandy, Sri Lanka who sew this together.  It is not only designed to hold treasure but is itself a treasure crafted by women helping women to cling to hope.

Child Action Lanka creatively links resources and skills of women in need around the world. Thanks for holding this little treasure.
